hair. It's also heavy in weight and the leather neck strap starts to get very uncomfortable. I've purchased many items since becoming a barber but this is honestly by far the WORST. I would NOT recommend this for anyone cutting hair. It might be good for painting, cooking, or some other activity where small items won't stick all over it. This apron was terrible for myself as a female hairstylist. It was WAY TOO HEAVY and uncomfortable to wear around my neck and I'm 5'8'' 190 lbs, so I can't imagine what it would be like for a smaller female to wear this.
